The Normann Copenhagen Colu Basket, designed by Baptiste Vandaele, is an ideal storage solution for those seeking a blend of architectural aesthetics and practical utility in their home. Crafted from recycled PET felt, it provides a tactile and durable way to organize items like magazines, blankets, or toys, though users should note that the felt material is best suited for indoor environments and should not be used to transport heavy, abrasive, or sharp objects that could potentially snag the fibers.

Yes, the Colu Basket is also available in green and beige variants.
The Colu Basket was designed by Baptiste Vandaele for Normann Copenhagen.
While durable, it is designed for household items like magazines and textiles; avoid placing sharp or extremely heavy items inside to maintain the integrity of the felt.
Gently reshape the walls by hand and fill the basket with soft items like blankets to help it regain its intended cylindrical form.
Use a lint roller or a vacuum cleaner with a soft upholstery brush attachment to remove surface debris.
The Colu Basket arrives ready to use; simply remove it from its packaging and ensure it is placed on a flat, stable surface. To maintain its appearance, the basket should be kept away from direct sunlight for extended periods to prevent potential color fading. If dust accumulates, it can be gently vacuumed with a soft brush attachment. For localized stains, use a damp cloth with a mild detergent and blot—do not rub—the affected area. Ensure the basket is completely dry before placing contents back inside.
