Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup
- Lacing: Before your first wear, ensure the laces are threaded correctly and tie them to a comfortable snugness. Adjust as needed to prevent slippage or pressure points.
- Insole Check: If you use custom orthotics, simply remove the factory insoles and insert your preferred ones. The removable design makes this an easy process.
Compatibility
- Orthotics: Fully compatible with most custom orthotics due to removable insoles.
- Wardrobe: Their versatile design makes them compatible with a wide range of casual outfits, from jeans and leggings to casual dresses.
Care & Maintenance
Maintaining your Hotter Gravity II Trainers, especially those with a nubuck/suede leather upper, will ensure their longevity and appearance:
- Brush off loose dirt with a soft-bristled brush (a dedicated suede brush is ideal).
- For tougher spots, use a specialized nubuck/suede cleaner or a damp, clean cloth and gently blot the stain. Avoid excessive scrubbing.
- Allow to air dry completely, away from direct heat.
- Cleaning (General Leather):
- Wipe down the leather upper with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt and dust.
- For scuffs or deeper cleaning, use a leather cleaner or conditioner as per product instructions.
- Polish if desired to maintain shine.
- Sole Care: Wipe the PU sole with a damp cloth to remove any debris.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Using shoe trees can help maintain their shape.
- Avoid: Do not machine wash or tumble dry, as this can damage the materials and construction.
