Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
This watch is a mechanical device that requires initial setting of the time and date. The crown, typically located at the 3 o'clock position, can be pulled out to different positions to adjust the time and date. Ensure the crown is pushed back in fully after setting to maintain water resistance.
Compatibility:
As a standalone watch, there are no electronic compatibility requirements. The stainless steel bracelet is designed for wrist wear.
Care:
- Cleaning: To maintain its polished appearance, regularly clean the watch case and bracelet with a soft, dry cloth. For tougher grime, use a slightly damp cloth and dry thoroughly. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Water Resistance: While rated for 100m, it's advisable to have the water resistance checked periodically, especially after impacts or if the watch has been exposed to saltwater or chemicals. Ensure the crown is always screwed down or pushed in completely before exposure to water.
- Strap Adjustment: If the stainless steel bracelet needs adjustment, it's recommended to visit a professional jeweler to avoid scratching the metal.
