Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup & Installation
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials, including transit bolts at the rear of the machine. Keep the transit bolts for future transportation if needed.
- Positioning: Place the washer dryer on a firm, level floor. Use the adjustable feet to ensure the machine is perfectly balanced to prevent excessive vibration and noise during operation.
- Water Connection: Connect the water inlet hose to a cold water tap with a 3/4 inch thread. Ensure connections are tight to prevent leaks. The drain hose should be securely hooked into a standpipe or connected to a sink trap, ensuring it is not kinked or obstructed.
- Power Connection: Plug the machine into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the power supply matches the machine's requirements (check the rating label).
- First Use: Before washing clothes, run a short cycle without laundry and detergent (e.g., a Rinse & Spin cycle) to flush out any manufacturing residues.
Compatibility
This Hisense washer dryer is compatible with standard household plumbing and electrical systems. It requires a cold water supply and a standard grounded electrical outlet. Its dimensions are 845mm (H) x 595mm (W) x 510mm (D), so ensure you have adequate space for installation and door clearance.
Care & Maintenance
- Detergent Drawer: Regularly clean the detergent dispenser drawer to prevent buildup of detergent and fabric softener residue, which can cause blockages or odors. Remove and rinse it under warm water.
- Drum Cleaning: Utilize the machine's self-cleaning cycle (if available) periodically to maintain drum hygiene. If not, run a hot wash cycle with a cup of white vinegar or a specialized washing machine cleaner.
- Antibacterial Seal: Wipe the antibacterial rubber door seal after each use to remove moisture, lint, and detergent residue. This helps prevent mold growth and maintains its hygienic properties.
- Lint Filter (Dryer Function): For optimal drying performance and to prevent fire hazards, clean the lint filter after *every* drying cycle. It's usually located inside the door opening.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe down the exterior of the machine with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Winterization (if applicable): If the machine is located in an area prone to freezing temperatures, consult the user manual for instructions on draining residual water to prevent damage.
