FAQs
What material is this duvet cover set made from?
This set is made from a polycotton blend, which combines polyester and cotton for a balance of comfort, durability, and ease of care.
What are the dimensions of the Super King duvet cover?
While exact dimensions can vary slightly by manufacturer, a Super King duvet cover is typically around 260cm x 220cm (102 x 86 inches).
Does the set include pillowcases?
Yes, a duvet cover set typically includes one duvet cover and at least one matching pillowcase. For Super King, it usually includes two pillowcases.
How do I care for the polycotton fabric?
It is machine washable at 40°C, can be tumble dried on low, and ironed on medium. Avoid bleach and wash with similar colours.
Can I use this set in hot weather?
Polycotton can be warmer than pure cotton. While generally comfortable, some individuals may find it warmer in very hot climates. The breathability of cotton helps, but the polyester content can retain more heat.
What does 'check reverse' mean?
It means the underside of the duvet cover features a check pattern, offering an alternative design option.
Is this duvet cover set available in other colours?
Yes, the Tartan Stag range is available in various colours including natural, mustard, and plum, in addition to this grey option.
Troubleshooting
Duvet cover doesn't fit duvet properly.
Ensure you are using a Super King size duvet. Check if the duvet cover has shifted during washing/drying and readjust.
Fabric feels rough after washing.
Ensure you are using the correct washing temperature and detergent. Avoid using harsh bleach. Ironing on a medium setting can help restore softness.
Colour seems faded.
Wash inside out in cold water and use a mild detergent. Avoid direct sunlight during drying.
