Wipe them down with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. For deeper cleaning, use a leather-specific cleaner and follow up with a light leather cream.
Yes, they are designed for daily comfort, though we recommend alternating shoes every other day to allow the leather to breathe.
While you can wear them without socks, we suggest using moisture-wicking invisible socks to protect the interior lining and your feet.
Applying a light, leather-safe water repellent spray can help protect the material, but avoid heavy saturation.
Always store them in a cool, dry place using cedar shoe trees to preserve their structure and manage moisture.
This is common with premium leather; wear them for short durations indoors to allow the material to soften and conform to your foot shape.
Use a specialized leather cleaner or a neutral cream polish to buff out minor surface abrasions and restore the grey finish.
To ensure your City Loafers maintain their appearance, use a high-quality leather conditioner periodically. Avoid exposing the shoes to excessive moisture, and if they do become wet, allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources. It is recommended to use wooden shoe trees when the loafers are not in use; this helps maintain the shape and absorbs internal moisture. Compatibility-wise, these shoes are best worn with invisible or low-cut socks to maintain the clean, streamlined look of the loafer aesthetic.
