Setup, Compatibility & Care
For setup, ensure you install your 3-bolt cleats using the appropriate torque settings recommended by the pedal manufacturer to avoid damaging the composite sole. Proper cleat positioning is essential; align the cleats so that the ball of your foot sits directly over the pedal spindle to prevent knee pain. For care, keep the shoes in peak condition by wiping them down with a soft, damp cloth after every ride to remove mud and grit. Do not machine wash or submerge the shoes. If they get soaked in a downpour, remove the insoles and stuff the shoes with newspaper to air-dry them in a cool, shaded area away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can warp the synthetic materials.
