FAQs

Are these shoes machine washable?

No, it is recommended to clean these leather trainers by hand with a soft cloth to maintain their structural integrity.

Is the leather genuine?

The VL Court 3.0 uses durable leather materials designed for high-wear resistance in children's footwear.

How do I ensure I have the right size?

Refer to the UK sizing guide for children. Ensure there is a small amount of space at the front of the shoe for growth.

Can these be worn for sports?

While they are comfortable for casual play and walking, they are classified as lifestyle trainers and are not intended for high-intensity competitive sports.

Are these suitable for wide feet?

The lace-up design allows for some adjustment, but the general fit is a standard width.

Troubleshooting

Laces coming untied frequently

Double-knot the laces or consider replacing them with elasticated no-tie laces if the child struggles with traditional knots.

Leather surface appearing scuffed or dull

Use a leather-safe cream or polish to restore the finish and protect the material from future wear.

Shoes feeling too tight after extended wear

Loosen the laces across the entire bridge of the foot; ensure the child is wearing appropriate thickness socks.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Durable leather construction for long-term use
Lightweight midsole provides essential cushioning
Versatile design suitable for school and play
Adjustable lace closure ensures a secure fit

Cons

White colorway is prone to showing dirt
Leather requires specific care to prevent cracking
Laces may be difficult for younger children to tie independently

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the best performance from your Adidas VL Court 3.0 trainers, follow these guidelines:

Setup: Adjust the laces to ensure a snug but comfortable fit across the instep before the first wear.
Compatibility: These trainers are standard sizing; however, check the size chart to match your child's specific UK foot measurements.
Care: Clean the leather surface with a soft, damp cloth. Use a mild leather cleaner if necessary. Avoid machine washing or submerging the shoes in water, as this can degrade the leather and the adhesives used in the construction. Allow them to air dry away from direct heat sources like radiators.
