This cushion features a luxurious, soft-touch velvet exterior with elegant contrasting piping, making it a versatile choice for both modern and opulent interior styles. The Meridian Velvet Cushion is designed for ease of use and maintenance; check the care label on your specific model for zipper access and washing instructions.
Yes, it is machine washable. We recommend using a gentle cycle and following the specific care instructions on the label.
To keep the velvet soft and free of dust, you can lightly brush the fabric with a soft-bristled upholstery brush.
Like all textiles, prolonged direct sunlight may cause fading. To maintain the vibrant color, avoid placing the cushion in areas with intense, direct sun exposure.
The cushion contains 100% duck feathers. If you are sensitive to natural down or feathers, please consider this before purchase.
Natural feathers settle over time. Simply give the cushion a firm fluffing or 'plumping' by hitting it on all sides to redistribute the feathers.
This is common with natural feather fills. Gently pull the feather back into the cushion and rub the fabric to close the gap in the weave.
Setting up the cushion is straightforward; simply remove it from any protective packaging and allow it to air for a few hours so the feathers can recover their natural volume. It is highly compatible with a variety of furniture, including leather, fabric, or velvet upholstery. Regarding care, the cover and inner are designed for longevity. To clean, follow the care label instructions to either machine wash on a gentle cycle or take it to a professional dry cleaner. Always ensure the cushion is completely dry after washing before returning it to your furniture to prevent any moisture buildup in the feather fill.
