It is an excellent mid-layer for winter hiking, but you should combine it with a windproof and waterproof outer jacket for full protection.
AT100 refers to the specific weight and density of the Trespass microfleece, indicating it is a lightweight, breathable insulation layer.
The base design of the Curtiston features a standard half-zip pullover style without pockets.
Following the recommended cold wash and hang-dry instructions will minimize the risk of shrinkage.
The fleece has natural give, and the integrated contrast panels are specifically designed to provide additional mobility during movement.
While the anti-pilling technology is effective, ensure you wash the garment inside out to reduce friction against the drum of your washing machine.
Ensure no fabric is caught in the zip track; if it remains stiff, lightly run a graphite pencil tip along the teeth to lubricate them.
To maintain the integrity of the AT100 fleece, machine wash it on a cool cycle (30 degrees Celsius) and avoid using harsh detergents or fabric softeners, as these can strip the anti-pilling treatment. It is recommended to hang-dry the fleece rather than using a tumble dryer, which can shrink the fabric or damage the synthetic fibers over time. This fleece pairs seamlessly under most waterproof hardshell jackets as an insulating layer for winter weather.
