These trainers are primarily designed for daily wear and general walking. While they offer good cushioning, they may lack the specific technical features required for serious long-distance running.
Use a specialized sneaker protector spray before first wear to repel liquids and dirt, and clean spot stains immediately.
New Balance typically offers a standard athletic fit, but foot shapes vary. It is recommended to try them on with the specific socks you intend to wear.
The Stability Web is a structural piece that provides midfoot support and prevents the shoe from twisting unnecessarily, helping to stabilize your gait.
The shoes come with specialized Abzorb SBS inserts for optimal performance; replacing them with aftermarket insoles may alter the intended cushioning profile.
Adjust the tension across the eyestays starting from the toe box working upward to achieve a custom tension profile.
Use a soft-bristled brush to gently remove dry debris before wiping with a damp cloth.
To ensure the best experience, start by adjusting the laces to match your foot volume, ensuring the Stability Web feels secure against the midfoot. For care, avoid machine washing these trainers, as this can degrade the specialized Abzorb foam components. Instead, wipe the layered mesh upper with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. Air dry the shoes away from direct heat sources like radiators to maintain the integrity of the adhesive and materials.
