To factory reset your iPad Pro, go to `Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPad > Erase All Content and Settings`. Be aware that this action will delete all data from your device, so ensure you have backed up any important information beforehand.
The iPad Pro 1st Gen features a 38.5 Wh battery. Actual battery life varies significantly based on usage (e.g., web browsing, video playback, gaming), network conditions, and device settings. In typical mixed usage, it's designed to last for several hours. Over time, all rechargeable batteries diminish in capacity.
Ensure the device is charged. Connect it to a power adapter and let it charge for at least 30 minutes. If still unresponsive, force restart by pressing and holding both the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button for at least ten seconds, until you see the Apple logo.
Go to `Settings > Wi-Fi` and turn Wi-Fi off, then back on. If the issue persists, reset network settings via `Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPad > Reset > Reset Network Settings`. You may also need to restart your router.
Ensure the app is updated to its latest version via the App Store. If the problem continues, force close the app by swiping up from the bottom of the screen (or double-pressing the Home button) to open the app switcher, then swipe the app preview up and off the screen. Reopen the app. If issues persist, try reinstalling the app.
Check battery usage in `Settings > Battery` to identify which apps are consuming the most power. Adjust settings like screen brightness, disable Background App Refresh (`Settings > General > Background App Refresh`), and limit location services for certain apps (`Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services`). Keep your iOS updated.
Check the Control Center (swipe down from the top-right corner or up from the bottom depending on iOS version) for the Orientation Lock icon (a lock inside a circular arrow). If it's highlighted, tap it to unlock screen rotation.
