Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Placement: Position the clock on a stable, flat surface.
- Time Setting: Manually adjust the minute and hour flip cards to display the correct time. Some models may have a manual adjustment knob on the side or back.
- Alarm Setting: Locate the alarm setting mechanism (often a dial or buttons on the back) and set your desired alarm time.
- Alarm Activation: Ensure the alarm is activated, usually via a switch.
Compatibility:
This is a mechanical clock and does not connect to external devices or power outlets for timekeeping. Its compatibility is based on its physical placement.
Care:
- Cleaning: Dust the clock regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For tougher smudges, use a slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Mechanism: Handle the flip cards gently. Do not force them if they feel stuck.
- Internal Components: Avoid exposing the clock to extreme temperatures or humidity.
