The Nike Air Rift Trainers are designed for adult women who value a unique, performance-inspired aesthetic combined with a barefoot-like feel. Originally debuted in 1996, these trainers offer exceptional comfort through their signature slit-toe construction and adjustable secure fit, making them an excellent choice for casual wear and light athletic activities; however, the unconventional toe separation may require a short adjustment period for those used to traditional closed-toe footwear.

Yes, because of the split-toe design, you will either need to wear them barefoot or purchase 'tabi' or split-toe socks.
While inspired by barefoot running designs, these are now classified as lifestyle trainers and are not recommended for long-distance or high-impact running.
The Air Rift uses adjustable straps across the heel and midfoot, which you can tighten or loosen to achieve your preferred level of security.
No, machine washing can damage the structural integrity and the adhesive on the straps; spot cleaning is recommended.
The textile upper is designed to stretch slightly and conform to your foot; ensure the midfoot strap is not over-tightened if you feel restricted.
Clean lint or debris out of the hook-and-loop fabric using a stiff brush or tweezers.
Ensure you are using appropriate thin, split-toe socks or allow for a break-in period for the textile separator.
Use a damp sponge with a tiny amount of dish soap to wipe the rubber outsole and restore its original finish.
To ensure the longevity of your Nike Air Rift Trainers, keep them away from excessive mud or harsh outdoor environments. To clean the textile upper, use a soft cloth with mild soap and lukewarm water, gently dabbing at any spots rather than soaking the material. Avoid putting these shoes in the washing machine or dryer as this can degrade the strap adhesives and upper materials. For storage, keep them in a cool, dry place to prevent the rubber outsole from drying out over time. If the adjustable straps collect debris, simply clear the hook-and-loop fasteners with a small brush to maintain their stickiness.
