The XT-6 features a streamlined construction with breathable mesh and durable TPU film, offering significant water resistance against splashes and light rain. It is designed to repel water but is not fully waterproof for submersion or heavy, prolonged downpours where water could enter through the ankle opening.

For routine cleaning, gently wipe the TPU film with a damp cloth. For the mesh and textile components, use a soft brush, mild soap, and lukewarm water. Avoid harsh chemicals. Allow the shoes to air dry completely away from direct heat or sunlight.

The Quicklace™ system is a strong, minimalist lace for one-pull tightening. To secure, pull the lace upwards until the desired fit is achieved, then push the toggle down to lock. To release, pull the toggle upwards and gently pull the lace forward to loosen.

Before pulling the lace, ensure it is routed smoothly through all eyelets without twists. Pull the lace up gently, making sure tension is even across the top of your foot. If still too tight, release the toggle, loosen slightly, and re-secure.

While Mud Contagrip offers excellent traction on varied terrain, no sole is infallible on all surfaces, especially extremely smooth, wet ones (e.g., polished wet concrete or certain types of wet rock). Exercise caution on such surfaces. Also, ensure the outsole lugs are clean and free of embedded debris for optimal grip.
