No, the Qikpac is a lightweight shell jacket designed for wind and rain protection, not for thermal insulation.
Yes, it can be machine washed on a gentle, cold cycle, but you should avoid fabric softeners.
The jacket features a practical hood design intended for a standard fit, providing basic coverage against the rain.
The size 2-3 corresponds to children typically in that age range, though we recommend checking the brand's specific size guide if the child is between sizes.
It is not designed for snow sports. It is best used for hiking, school commutes, and general wet-weather protection.
The Durable Water Repellent (DWR) coating may have worn off. Apply a specialized spray-on DWR treatment to restore the waterproof finish.
Ensure the jacket is laid flat and folded neatly before rolling it tightly toward the integrated pouch area to maintain the compact shape.
To maximize the life of the jacket, always ensure it is fully dry before packing it away into its integrated pouch to prevent mildew. The jacket is designed to be worn over regular clothing; choose a size that allows for a fleece or hoodie underneath during colder months. For cleaning, machine wash on a cold, gentle cycle with mild detergent. Avoid using fabric softeners or bleaching agents, as these can strip the waterproof coating. Hang the jacket to air dry; avoid tumble drying or ironing, as the synthetic materials are sensitive to high heat.
