The Aubrion Original Waterproof Chaps are designed for equestrians and outdoor enthusiasts who require reliable protection against rain, wind, and cold. Featuring a durable polyester outer with a 10,000mm waterproof rating and cozy, breathable quilted insulation, these chaps are perfect for staying dry and warm in the saddle or while working around the yard. While they offer exceptional weather resistance through Bionic-Finish Eco technology, users should note that the integrated insulation means they are primarily optimized for cooler, wet conditions rather than high-intensity summer activities.

Because they feature quilted insulation, they are primarily designed for autumn, winter, and spring riding. They may be too warm for high-intensity summer activities.
Yes, they are designed to be worn over breeches and work best when paired with riding boots, secured by the elastic foot stirrups.
The chaps feature an adjustable hip clip system, so focus on selecting the size that aligns with your typical pant size to ensure the length is appropriate for your leg.
Yes, but use a gentle cycle with a technical wash liquid and avoid fabric softeners, as they strip the waterproof coating.
These chaps have a waterproof rating of 10,000mm, which is highly effective against heavy rain and sustained wet conditions.
The DWR finish may be wearing off; re-apply a technical water-repellent spray designed for outdoor gear.
Ensure no mud or grit is trapped in the zip teeth and use a dedicated silicone zipper lubricant if necessary.
To achieve the best fit, adjust the clip hip band to your preferred tension before zipping the legs. The two-way zips are designed to open from either top or bottom, allowing you to create ventilation if needed. For care, it is recommended to wipe down the chaps with a damp cloth after use to remove mud or debris. When washing, use a mild, technical-friendly detergent and avoid heavy fabric softeners, as these can compromise the waterproof and breathable coatings. Always allow the garment to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources to preserve the integrity of the Bionic-Finish Eco treatment.
