FAQs

Is this suitable for summer sports?

Yes, the lightweight polyester construction is designed to wick moisture away from the body, helping you stay cool during intense activity.

How should this fit?

This is a compression-style base layer, so it should feel tight against the skin to provide muscle support without restricting blood flow.

Can I put this in the dryer?

We recommend air drying to keep the compression fibers elastic. High heat can cause the material to lose its shape over time.

Is the material breathable?

The polyester-elastane blend is engineered for breathability and moisture management, making it highly effective for active use.

Does it come in different sizes?

Yes, the PUMA Liga range offers various size options; please check the specific product label for your regional sizing requirements.

Troubleshooting

Fabric feels too tight

Compression gear is designed for a snug fit. If movement is restricted, ensure you are wearing the correct size, as a size up may be needed for broader frames.

Garment losing elasticity

Avoid using fabric softeners and high-heat drying, both of which can break down the elastane content in the fabric.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Retains elasticity after repeated use
Lightweight feel prevents overheating
Provides effective muscle compression
Moisture-wicking properties keep skin dry
Durable synthetic material blend

Cons

Slim fit can be restrictive for some users
Limited to base layer use
Requires careful temperature control during drying

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the longevity of the compression technology, follow these care instructions:

Washing: Machine wash on a gentle cycle in cold water to preserve the integrity of the elastane fibers.
Drying: Air dry whenever possible; avoid high-heat tumble drying as it can degrade the elastic properties.
Compatibility: This piece is designed to be worn under jerseys or mid-layers. Its slim fit makes it ideal for layering without creating bunching or discomfort under athletic uniforms.
