The Nike Kawa Slides are designed for children, offering plush comfort and durable wear for post-activity relaxation and casual use. Featuring a soft Solarsoft foam footbed and flexible design, they aim to provide a natural feel for growing feet. While excellent for comfort, their open slide design means they are not intended for high-impact sports or rough terrain.

While the synthetic materials can withstand splashes and are fine for wearing around a pool, they are not designed to be submerged for long periods. It's best to dry them thoroughly after contact with water to maintain their condition.
The footbed is made from Solarsoft foam, designed to provide plush cushioning and comfort for your child's feet.
No, these slides are intended for casual wear and post-activity relaxation. Their open design and lack of secure fastening make them unsuitable for active sports, running, or activities requiring significant foot support.
You can clean them by wiping with a soft, damp cloth and a mild soap solution. Allow them to air dry completely afterwards, away from direct heat.
Nike Kawa Slides for kids generally run true to size, but it's always recommended to measure your child's foot and refer to Nike's size chart if you are unsure. This specific model is a children's UK size 13.
The Solarsoft foam footbed provides cushioning, but while comfortable, these slides are designed primarily for casual comfort and do not offer significant structured arch support comparable to athletic footwear.
Ensure you have selected the correct UK children's size 13. While slides offer some flexibility, an incorrect size can lead to discomfort or tripping. If they feel loose, they might be too big; if too tight, they might be too small for your child's foot.
This can happen if feet are wet or sweaty. Ensure your child's feet are dry before wearing. If the footbed itself feels slick, a light cleaning with a damp cloth and mild soap can remove any residue that might be causing slipperiness.
Odors can build up from regular wear and perspiration. Clean the footbed regularly using a mild soap and water solution, then air dry completely. For stubborn odors, a sprinkle of baking soda left overnight can help absorb smells.
The injected Phylon outsole is durable for casual use. If wear is excessive, consider the surfaces your child is wearing them on. Rough, abrasive surfaces (like concrete playgrounds or rocky paths) can cause faster wear than indoor or softer outdoor surfaces. Ensure they are not being used for activities beyond their intended purpose.
The Nike Kawa Slides require no complex setup. Simply slip them on your child's feet. Ensure the footstrap sits comfortably over the foot.
Proper care will help maintain the comfort and durability of your Nike Kawa Slides.
