Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Unpack Curtains: Carefully remove the curtains from their packaging.
- Prepare Curtain Pole: Ensure your curtain pole is securely installed and has a diameter compatible with the 40mm brushed steel eyelets. Most standard curtain poles will be suitable.
- Thread Eyelets: Starting from one end, thread the curtain eyelets onto the curtain pole. For a balanced and aesthetically pleasing look, alternate the direction of the first eyelet so the leading edge faces inwards towards the window.
- Hang and Adjust: Once all eyelets are on the pole, hang the pole back on its brackets. Adjust the fabric folds evenly to achieve your desired drape and aesthetic.
Compatibility
These eyelet curtains are specifically designed for use with a standard curtain pole. The 40mm diameter eyelets are versatile and will fit most common pole sizes, ensuring smooth and easy operation. Their timeless design and thermal benefits make them suitable for a wide range of rooms, including bedrooms, living rooms, dining rooms, and studies.
Care
- Dry Clean Only: To maintain the fabric quality, color integrity, and the thermal properties of the lining, these curtains must be dry cleaned only. Do not machine wash, tumble dry, iron directly, or bleach.
- Spot Cleaning: For small, immediate spills, gently blot the affected area with a clean, dry, white cloth. Avoid rubbing, which can spread the stain or damage the fabric. Consult a professional dry cleaner for specific stain removal advice if needed.
- Regular Dusting: To prevent dust build-up, periodically dust the curtains with a soft brush attachment on a vacuum cleaner or use a lint roller. This helps maintain their fresh appearance.
