Product Information

Full details

The PUMA LIGA Baselayer Tee LS is designed for adult male athletes looking for a high-performance, form-fitting base layer that supports moisture management and freedom of movement during intense training sessions or matches. Crafted from a technical blend of polyester and spandex, this shirt provides a sleek silhouette that fits comfortably under jerseys or training tops, though users should note that the slim-fit design is intended to be very tight against the skin and may require sizing up if a looser feel is preferred.

FAQs

Is this shirt suitable for cold weather?

Yes, as a baselayer, it helps trap body heat, making it perfect for layering in cooler conditions.

Does this shirt come in kids' sizes?

This specific variant is for adults, though the PUMA LIGA line does include specific children's sizing in other listings.

Should I wear anything underneath?

This garment is intended to be worn directly against the skin as your first layer.

Can I tumble dry the shirt?

We recommend air drying to preserve the elasticity of the spandex and the integrity of the fabric.

What is the primary material used?

The shirt is made from a blend of polyester and spandex for durability and stretch.

Troubleshooting

Shirt feels too tight or uncomfortable

The product is designed with a slim-fit profile; if uncomfortable, try sizing up or ensure it is worn as a base layer rather than a standalone shirt.

Fabric retains odors after washing

Ensure you are using a sports-specific detergent designed to strip synthetic fabrics of sweat-based buildup, and do not use fabric softener.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Form-fitting design prevents bunching under outer layers
High-stretch fabric ensures unhindered athletic movement
Lightweight material suitable for high-intensity activity
Easy to wash and maintain

Cons

Slim fit can feel restrictive for those preferring a looser style
Limited to a single base layer functionality
Size chart may run tighter than standard casual t-shirts

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Because this is a technical garment, proper care is essential to maintain fabric elasticity. Machine wash in cold water with similar colours to prevent fading. Avoid using fabric softeners, as these can clog the technical fibers and diminish moisture-wicking capabilities. For drying, it is recommended to hang-dry the garment rather than using a high-heat dryer, which can damage the spandex fibers over time. This base layer is compatible with most standard soccer, running, and gym kits.
