Mylands Rose Theatre 249 is a sophisticated, plant-based paint ideal for homeowners and designers seeking a warm, pale blush finish with subtle red undertones for interior surfaces. It offers a premium, low-sheen dead matt aesthetic that brings a soft, historical elegance to any room; however, users should note that as a matte finish, it may require more care in high-traffic areas compared to high-gloss alternatives.

While it is durable for residential use, dead matt finishes are less resistant to heavy scrubbing than satin or gloss. Clean gently with a soft cloth.
While it can be used in dry areas, it is not specifically formulated for high-humidity environments. We recommend checking the technical specifications if moisture is a concern.
It provides a more environmentally conscious option for interior design without compromising on the opacity or finish quality expected from Mylands.
For most surfaces, two coats are recommended to achieve true color depth and an even finish.
Yes, provided the surface is lightly sanded and cleaned to provide a "key" for the new paint to adhere to.
Ensure you are using a high-quality roller sleeve and maintain a 'wet edge' while painting to allow the paint to self-level.
The surface may need further preparation or a dedicated primer coat if it is particularly glossy or non-porous.
This is often caused by uneven application or surface porosity; ensure you apply two full coats, allowing for the recommended drying time in between.
Before painting, ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust or grease. If painting over porous surfaces, apply a suitable primer to ensure uniform absorption. For best results, stir the paint thoroughly before use. When cleaning the finished surface, use a soft, damp cloth and avoid harsh abrasive chemicals that could disturb the matte texture. Store the paint in a cool, dry place and ensure the lid is sealed tightly after each use to prevent skinning and dehydration of the formula.
