Setup, Compatibility & Care
Before starting, ensure your walls are clean, dry, and primed. For the best results, use a high-quality wallpaper adhesive specifically formulated for paste-the-wall products.
- Preparation: Fill any large holes or deep gouges in the wall and sand smooth.
- Application: Apply the paste to the wall in sections rather than to the back of the paper. Use a plumb line to ensure your first drop is perfectly vertical.
- Smoothing: Use a soft-bristled wallpaper brush or a felt smoother. Avoid using hard plastic scrapers, as they may flatten the blown texture.
- Maintenance: To clean, use a soft sponge or cloth lightly dampened with water and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive scouring pads that could snag the textured vinyl.
