Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: To set up the netting, first construct a frame using wood, metal poles, or existing garden structures. Cut the netting to the desired size using sharp scissors or a utility knife. Secure the netting tightly to the frame using cable ties, clips, or S hooks. Ensure there are no gaps where birds or pests could enter. For fruit cages, it's recommended to use additional roof netting for complete coverage.
Compatibility: This netting is highly compatible with wooden frames, where it can be easily stapled or tied. It can also be attached to metal frames, posts, or existing garden structures. It works well with raised beds and can be adapted for use with portable frames for temporary enclosures.
Care: To maintain the netting's condition, clean it annually with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. Store it loosely rolled or folded in a dry place during the off-season to prevent damage from extreme weather. Avoid exposing it to harsh chemicals. With careful handling, the netting can be reused for multiple seasons.
