The Costway 6 ft Smart RGB Pencil Christmas Tree is designed for homeowners and apartment dwellers looking for a space-saving yet high-impact holiday centerpiece that combines classic festive aesthetics with modern smart technology. While its slender silhouette fits perfectly in tighter corners, its standout feature is the versatile RGB lighting system capable of displaying 16 million colors via an integrated app. Users should note that because the tree is heavily flocked to achieve its realistic snowy appearance, some minor shedding is expected during the initial setup process.
No, the tree arrives pre-lit with RGB lights, but ornaments are not included.
Yes, an included remote control provides access to many of the lighting effects, timer settings, and brightness levels.
The materials are non-allergic and flame-retardant, but it is generally advised to keep pets from chewing on any artificial tree branches or needles.
There are 8 dynamic modes and 22 customizable light effects available via the remote, with even more customization possible through the app.
Yes, the hinged construction and folding metal stand allow the tree to be broken down into manageable sections for compact storage.
As a 'pencil' tree, it features a slim diameter specifically designed for tight spaces, though the exact width can vary based on how widely you fluff the branches.
Ensure your phone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and that the tree is plugged in and within range of your router.
Verify that all sections are fully inserted into each other and check that the screws on the metal folding stand are tightened securely.
Gently shake the branches outside before moving them indoors, and handle the branches by the wire stems rather than the needles.
Setting up the tree involves unfolding the included metal stand, inserting the tree sections, and fluffing the hinged branches to achieve the desired fullness. We recommend wearing the provided gloves during this phase to minimize contact with the flocking and protect your skin. For smart features, ensure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network to pair with the app. To care for the tree, keep it away from direct heat sources to maintain the flame-retardant integrity. If storage is needed, gently disassemble the sections and pack them in a cool, dry place to prevent moisture buildup. Light shedding of flocking is normal; a light vacuuming around the base after the first assembly is standard practice.
