Full details

The Christow Chamonix Spruce Flocked Christmas Tree is an ideal choice for homeowners looking to create a grand, wintry festive display in large living spaces or entrance halls. Featuring a realistic snow-dusted finish and dense, full branches, it serves as an elegant centrepiece for your seasonal decor; however, potential buyers should note that its 8ft height and 4.75ft diameter require significant floor space for a proper setup.

FAQs

Is this tree pre-lit?

No, this tree does not come with integrated lights, allowing you the creative freedom to choose your own lighting style.

How wide is the base of the tree?

The tree has a diameter of approximately 4.75ft (145cm) at its widest point.

Can I use this tree outdoors?

This tree is designed specifically for indoor use. Outdoor exposure to moisture may damage the flocked finish.

Does it come with a storage bag?

The tree is delivered in a sturdy box which serves as the primary storage container for the off-season.

Are the branches attached or hooked?

The branches are hinged, meaning they are permanently attached to the central pole and fold down for assembly.

Troubleshooting

Tree feels wobbly or unstable

Ensure the stand is on a level surface and that all silver metal eyebolts are tightened firmly against the pole.

Visible gaps in the tree foliage

This is usually due to insufficient 'fluffing.' Spend more time pulling individual branch tips outward and alternating their direction to cover the inner core.

Flocking falling off during setup

Minor shedding is normal when handling a flocked tree for the first time. Handle the branches gently and use a vacuum to clear any loose particles from the floor.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Realistic, high-quality flocking effect
Hinged branches for quick, stress-free setup
Large, impressive profile perfect for high ceilings
Heavy-duty metal stand provides excellent stability
Protective rubber feet protect hardwood and laminate floors

Cons

Requires a large amount of storage space when packed away
Extensive size may be overwhelming for small rooms
Requires significant time to manually fluff tips for the best look

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Assembly is straightforward: connect the base sections, insert the tree poles, and lower the hinged branches. Once standing, take the time to 'fluff' every tip to maximize the fullness.

Care Instructions:

Storage: Always store in a cool, dry place. Using the original box helps maintain the shape of the flocked branches.
Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth or a duster to lightly remove dust. Avoid using water or cleaning agents on the flocking.
Safety: Ensure all eyebolts on the metal stand are tightened securely before adding decorations.
