No, this jacket features a fixed hood for consistent coverage.
The main outer fabric is 100% polyester, with a cotton lining and polyamide padding.
The sizes provided are standard UK baby sizing; for the 18-24 model, ensure your child falls within the typical age and height range for those months.
While the jacket offers protection against cold, it is designed for winter warmth rather than heavy-duty waterproofing.
Use a gentle machine wash cycle with mild detergent, and always follow the specific care instructions on the interior garment label.
Check for loose threads or fabric caught in the teeth and ensure the jacket is laid flat before zipping.
Gently shake or pat the jacket to redistribute the filling, or tumble dry on the lowest heat setting with clean dryer balls.
This jacket is ready to wear immediately out of the box. Regarding care, always check the interior garment label for specific temperature settings, but generally, machine wash on a gentle cycle to preserve the integrity of the padding. Use mild detergents and avoid harsh bleaching agents. Air drying or tumble drying on a very low heat setting is recommended to prevent damage to the synthetic fibers of the polyester shell and polyamide padding. Ensure the zipper is closed before washing to prevent snagging on other items.
