Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Choose Location: Select a spot on a fence, wall, or post that receives direct sunlight for most of the day.
- Mount: Securely attach each light using appropriate screws or mounting hardware (not typically included with solar lights, user may need to provide based on mounting surface).
- Activate: Ensure the light's solar panel is clean and exposed to sunlight. Most lights have an on/off switch that should be set to 'on' for automatic operation.
Compatibility:
These lights are designed for outdoor use and are compatible with most standard fence and wall materials. They do not require any electrical outlets or wiring.
Care:
- Cleaning: Periodically wipe the solar panel with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust, dirt, or debris. This ensures maximum sunlight absorption for charging.
- Maintenance: Check for any accumulated debris around the light fixture. Ensure the light sensor is not obstructed.
- Winter Storage: In regions with heavy snow or prolonged periods of low sunlight, consider cleaning the lights and storing them indoors to protect them from harsh conditions and preserve battery life.
