Care & Maintenance
Regular cleaning not only maintains your hob's appearance but also ensures optimal performance and longevity.
- Stainless Steel Surface: Clean with a soft cloth and warm, soapy water or a specialized stainless steel cleaner. Avoid abrasive scrubbers or harsh chemicals that can scratch the surface. Always wipe in the direction of the grain for best results.
- Cast Iron Pan Supports: These can be cleaned with warm, soapy water. For stubborn food residues, soak them before scrubbing. Ensure they are completely dry before placing them back on the hob to prevent rust.
- Burner Caps and Crowns: Periodically remove and clean these with warm, soapy water to clear any food debris or blockages that could affect flame quality. Ensure they are thoroughly dry and correctly positioned before use.
Safety Note: Always ensure the hob is cool and disconnected from the power supply (if applicable) before cleaning.
