This petite blazer from Dorothy Perkins is designed for adult women seeking a sophisticated yet modern outerwear piece. Its key benefit lies in its versatility, easily transitioning from office wear to smart-casual events. A potential caveat is that the petite sizing may not be suitable for all body types. Key features include ruched sleeves, a single-button closure, notched lapels, and front flap pockets, all contributing to a polished and fashionable look.

This blazer is highly versatile and can be worn for important meetings, office wear, smart-casual events, brunches, and even baby showers.
The ruched sleeves add a decorative element. They can be worn as they are, or you can push them up slightly for a more relaxed feel. They pair well with bracelets or watches.
The blazer is designed with three-quarter length sleeves, making it ideal for transitional weather like spring and autumn. For colder winter months, layering with warmer items underneath is recommended.
Petite sizing refers to garments specifically designed for shorter individuals, typically with shorter sleeve lengths and body proportions adjusted accordingly.
Yes, absolutely. For a smart-casual look, pair the blazer with dark wash jeans, a simple top, and heels or stylish flats.
It is generally recommended to dry clean this blazer to maintain its shape and fabric quality. Always check the care label for specific instructions.
The blazer features a classic single-button closure for a clean and polished look.
Gently steam the garment on a low setting or have it professionally dry cleaned and pressed. Avoid direct ironing on delicate areas.
Ensure proper storage on a hanger. If reshaping is needed, a gentle hand-press of the ruching may help, but avoid overworking the fabric.
Reinforce the button by carefully sewing it back onto the fabric using a strong thread that matches the original. Consider adding a small anchor stitch underneath for extra security.
Treat minor pilling with a fabric shaver. For snags, carefully try to tuck the snagged thread back through to the inside of the garment with a needle. Avoid harsh friction.
This blazer requires no setup as it is a finished garment. It is designed to be compatible with a wide range of clothing items, including trousers, skirts, dresses, and tops. To care for your blazer, it is recommended to follow the specific care instructions on the garment's label. Typically, this involves dry cleaning to maintain the fabric's integrity and shape. Avoid machine washing or tumble drying to prevent damage to the material and the ruched sleeve detailing. Store the blazer on a padded hanger to preserve its structure.
