FAQs

Are the New Balance 370 shoes true to size?

Yes, they generally fit true to standard adult sizing. If you prefer extra room for thicker socks, consider a half-size up.

Can these shoes be washed in a washing machine?

No, machine washing can damage the suede material and weaken the adhesive in the sole. Always stick to manual spot cleaning.

Are these suitable for running?

These are primarily designed as lifestyle trainers. While they are comfortable for walking, they lack the technical support required for long-distance running.

What is the primary material of the upper?

The upper is crafted from a blend of premium suede and breathable mesh.

Do these provide good arch support?

They feature a soft midsole suitable for everyday wear, but those with specific orthopedic needs may prefer adding an aftermarket insole.

Troubleshooting

Laces coming undone frequently

Ensure you are using a double knot or a secure reef knot, and ensure the laces are threaded through all eyelets properly.

Suede looks dull or dusty

Use a specialized suede brush to gently lift the nap of the material, which restores the original look and removes embedded particles.

Slight discomfort during initial break-in

Wear the trainers for short periods indoors over the first few days to allow the materials to mold to the shape of your feet.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the best experience, always use the front lace-up system to achieve a snug fit, ensuring the tongue is centered to prevent discomfort. Since these trainers are made with suede, it is important to avoid wearing them in heavy rain or muddy conditions, as water can damage the texture of the material. For cleaning, use a soft-bristled brush to remove surface dust and dirt from the suede. If stains occur, use a designated suede cleaner. Always consult the product label on the inner tongue for specific care instructions provided by New Balance.
