No, it is recommended to spot clean only to preserve the water-resistant properties of the cotton fabric.
Yes, the jacket is designed to provide wind protection and a layer of defense suitable for light riding conditions.
Store it in a cool, dry place on a sturdy, wide-shouldered hanger to prevent shoulder deformation.
Dark Ink is a deep, rich blue tone that offers a more sophisticated alternative to standard black or navy.
The Overland is not heavily insulated; it is best used as a shell or a mid-layer for milder temperatures.
Apply a recommended fabric-specific re-waterproofing treatment or re-waxing product designed for Belstaff cotton garments.
Hang the jacket in a humid environment, such as a bathroom after a shower, to allow the fibers to relax naturally.
To ensure the longevity of your Belstaff Overland Jacket, avoid machine washing whenever possible, as this can degrade the water-resistant coating. Instead, spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap. If the jacket becomes saturated, allow it to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can cause the cotton to shrink or stiffen. Ensure you check the internal label for specific re-waxing instructions if the water resistance begins to diminish after heavy seasonal use. When storing, use a wide-shouldered hanger to maintain the jacket's shape in the closet.
