Full details

The TIMco Classic C2 wood screws feature a C2 twin-cut technology for enhanced performance. These screws have a dual angle full thread design that ensures maximum pull-out strength, making them ideal for high load applications like hinges and brackets. They comply with BS EN 14592:2008 and have a corrosion rating of 2, suitable for occasionally damp or wet environments. The screws have a PZ2 recess type, a double countersunk head, and a zinc and yellow finish. They are made of carbon steel and come in a 5.0 x 50mm size. The deep recess prevents cam-out for precise drive control, and ribs under the head improve countersinking for a flush finish. A high-molecular polymer lubricant coating reduces insertion torque by up to 52% and increases rust protection. The patented twin-cut technology ensures rapid pick-up and reduces timber splitting.
