This guide is for parents looking for stylish and comfortable footwear for their young children, specifically the ADIDAS ORIGINALS Handball Spezial Trainers in Red, size 4.5 (UK). The key benefit is the blend of retro 70s design with modern cushioning for all-day wear. A potential caveat is that suede requires specific care to maintain its appearance and texture. These low-top trainers feature a durable cow suede upper, synthetic and textile lining, and a rubber outsole, offering a classic look with dependable grip suitable for various activities.

These trainers are best suited for casual everyday wear and light activities. They offer good grip but are not designed for high-impact sports that require specialized support.
Use a soft brush to remove surface dirt. For stains, a specialized suede cleaner is recommended, or a slightly damp cloth can be used with caution. Always allow to air dry away from heat.
'Handball Spezial' refers to the original design of the shoe, which was created for handball players in the 1970s. The 'Spezial' designation often indicates a specialized or premium version.
The trainers are listed in UK children's sizes. It is recommended to consult the brand's size chart or measure your child's foot to ensure the best fit.
While the rubber sole offers some protection, suede is not waterproof and can be damaged by excessive moisture. It is best to avoid wearing these trainers in heavy rain or wet conditions.
The sole is made of rubber, designed to provide durable traction and grip.
Yes, the Handball Spezial series is available in various colorways. Please check the product catalog for other available options.
Use a suede brush to restore the nap. For tougher stains, use a dedicated suede cleaner and follow product instructions carefully.
Ensure the correct size was purchased. If the shoe is slightly snug, the suede may stretch slightly with wear. Try wearing them with thin socks initially.
Try double-knotting the laces. Consider replacing the laces with a grippier material if this is a persistent issue.
This can occasionally happen with new suede. Protect lighter-colored socks or clothing until the dye has settled. Use a suede protector spray to help prevent this.
