Yes, they are constructed using approximately 30% recycled materials as part of Puma's commitment to sustainability.
Use a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid soaking the boots or using a washing machine, as high heat and heavy agitation can damage the synthetic structure.
The Ultra 5 Match features a performance-oriented fit. While they provide some flexibility, they are generally shaped for a standard, sleek football boot fit.
Measure the feet while wearing the socks they intend to play in. The boot should feel secure without excessive pressure on the toes.
These are designed for firm ground and artificial turf; they will lose traction on saturated, muddy surfaces. Avoid using them in heavy rain or deep mud.
Ensure the collar is pulled tight against the ankle or consider using sports socks that cover the entry point to reduce debris ingress.
Clean the surface thoroughly with a mild soap solution and a soft cloth to remove dirt or oil buildup that interferes with the texture.
To ensure the longevity of your Puma Ultra 5 boots, proper maintenance is essential. Ensure the boots are properly laced for a snug, secure fit before every session. After playing on artificial turf or dirt, use a soft-bristled brush to remove dried mud and debris from the studs and upper material. Wipe the boots down with a damp cloth; avoid machine washing or using harsh chemical cleaners, as these can degrade the synthetic upper and the GripControl layer. Always air-dry the boots in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can cause the materials to stiffen or warp.
