FAQs
Is this shirt suitable for casual wear?
While it can be worn casually, it is specifically engineered as a high-performance compression baselayer for athletes.
Does the PUMA Liga Baselayer help with sweat?
Yes, the synthetic material is designed to wick moisture away from the skin to keep you dry.
How should I wash this compression tee?
Wash in cold water with similar colors and hang to dry for the best results.
What does 'slim fit' mean for this product?
It means the shirt is designed to sit very close to the body, providing a compressive sensation rather than a loose, casual fit.
Can I use fabric softener?
It is not recommended, as fabric softeners can coat the fibers and interfere with the moisture-wicking properties of the material.
Troubleshooting
The garment feels too restrictive during movement
Ensure you are wearing the correct size. The slim fit is intentional, but if the sizing is too small, it will impede circulation.
Fabric appears to be losing its shape
Avoid washing with heavy-duty detergents or high heat, as these break down the elastic fibers over time.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Promotes optimal freedom of movement
- Provides targeted muscle support via light compression
- Durable fabric capable of withstanding repetitive training
- Streamlined slim fit prevents garment interference
Cons
- Slim fit may feel too tight for some users
- Specific to athletic use rather than casual loungewear
- Requires careful washing to maintain compression integrity
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your PUMA compression tee, follow these care guidelines:
- Washing: Machine wash in cold water with similar colors. Avoid the use of bleach or fabric softeners, as these can degrade the elasticity of the fabric.
- Drying: Air dry whenever possible. If you must use a dryer, select the lowest heat setting to prevent damage to the synthetic fibers.
- Compatibility: This garment is designed to be worn directly against the skin. It pairs well with PUMA training shorts and standard athletic footwear for a complete training ensemble.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Avoid leaving the damp shirt inside a gym bag for extended periods, as this can lead to odor buildup.
