Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
Getting started with your Predator Pro boots is straightforward. Simply put them on and lace them up, ensuring a snug but comfortable fit. The fold-over tongue should sit neatly over the laces, providing a clean surface. It's recommended to wear them for a few short sessions before a full match to allow them to break in and mold to your feet.
Compatibility:
These boots are explicitly designed for Multi Ground (MG) use. This means they are compatible with:
- Firm Ground (FG): Natural grass pitches that are firm or slightly damp.
- Artificial Ground (AG/Turf): Modern synthetic turf pitches (often with longer, softer blades).
They offer a versatile solution for players who frequently play on different surfaces.
Care:
Proper care will extend the life and performance of your boots. While specific instructions should be found on the product's label, general care for synthetic football boots includes:
- Cleaning after each use: Wipe off excess mud and dirt with a damp cloth or soft brush. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Drying: Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not use direct heat sources like radiators or tumble dryers, as this can damage the synthetic materials.
- Storage: Store them in a cool, dry place, ideally with boot trees or crumpled newspaper inside to help maintain their shape and absorb moisture.
- Avoid machine washing: Machine washing can damage the materials and adhesives, voiding any warranty.
