The Barbour International Polar Windproof Quilted Jacket is an ideal choice for women seeking a blend of classic motorcycle heritage and modern insulation. This jacket excels at providing warmth without unnecessary bulk, making it a perfect transition piece for cooler weather; however, its slim-fit silhouette means those who prefer layering heavy knitwear underneath may want to consider sizing up for optimal comfort.

It is designed as a windproof quilted jacket. While it provides protection against light gusts and cold, it is not a fully waterproof rain jacket.
Check the internal care label for specific instructions; generally, delicate cycle washing or dry cleaning is recommended to protect the quilted material.
The belt is intended to be a permanent part of the design to maintain the structural shape of the jacket.
It features a slim-fit cut. If you prefer to wear thick layers underneath, we recommend choosing a size up.
The jacket uses specialized technical materials designed for insulation, noted as Zinc-based in its construction classification.
It is best suited for mild to cool transitional weather. In extreme freezing conditions, additional thermal layering is recommended.
Apply a very small amount of wax or silicone-based lubricant to the stud mechanism to ease movement.
Gently buff with a soft, dry microfiber cloth to restore the shine without damaging the surrounding fabric.
As a structured garment, ensure the jacket is hung on a wide-shouldered hanger when not in use to preserve the integrity of the slim-fit shoulder seams. The brass hardware should be kept dry to prevent tarnishing; if the jacket gets wet in heavy rain, shake it off and allow it to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators. For cleaning, follow the care label instructions inside the garment, typically requiring a gentle cold wash or professional cleaning to maintain the finish of the fabric and the gold-toned hardware.
