The Vans Old Skool Trainers in the beige animal print are designed for infants who need a blend of classic skate style and everyday comfort. These shoes feature a supportive construction with easy-to-use fasteners, making them an excellent choice for parents looking for durable footwear for active children; however, the leather material requires specific care to maintain its appearance compared to synthetic alternatives.

No, you should not machine wash these trainers as it can damage the leather and the adhesive used in the vulcanized construction.
These are specifically designed for the infant stage, typically corresponding with UK size 9.
Use a soft brush and mild soapy water to gently scrub the rubber edges, then wipe clean with a damp cloth.
While they can be, we recommend wearing moisture-wicking socks to prevent skin irritation and keep the interior clean.
Hook-and-loop fasteners can lose adhesion over time; keeping them free of debris helps prolong their lifespan.
The leather provides some water resistance against light splashes, but they are not waterproof and should not be worn in heavy rain.
Check the hook-and-loop material for debris or lint buildup and clear it with a small brush.
Ensure both straps are fully opened and the tongue is pulled forward before inserting the foot.
Use a matching leather polish or cream to buff out minor scuffs and restore the appearance.
These trainers are designed for simple setup: simply adjust the two straps to ensure a snug fit that does not restrict circulation. As a UK size 9 infant shoe, they are best suited for children within that specific developmental stage. To maintain the leather upper, avoid submerging the shoes in water. Instead, use a damp cloth to wipe away surface dirt. For deeper stains, use a specialized leather cleaner applied with a soft brush. Keep the shoes away from extreme heat sources, such as radiators, as this can cause the leather to crack and the vulcanized rubber to separate.
