This classic runner-inspired design offers new details and modern materials for all-day comfort and cool, heritage style. The New Balance Younger Kids 327 PS provides superb comfort and combines casual retro looks, based on New Balance's classic 70s runner catalogue. This kid-tuned, all-day shoe features significant NB details, classic design, and new colours. Suede and mesh materials ensure durability and breathable comfort, with signature features and an easy-on bungee system for convenient and cool coverage on little feet. The midsole is soft, and a reliable rubber outsole keeps you on your feet. Designed for younger kids, it features a flared midsole, a synthetic suede and nylon upper with an exaggerated fang design inspired by the 320, 355, and Supercomp models. It also boasts oversized N branding, medial linear New Balance text branding, a lugged outsole inspired by the 355 trail running shoe, a rubber heel wrap inspired by the 320, 355, and Supercomp, a retro-inspired nylon tongue, a split eyerow, and a bungee closure system for easy on and off. As recreational running gained popularity in the 1970s, the standard for running footwear shifted from mere existence to performance. While the decade's designs might seem simple by today's standards, it marked the point when running shoes truly came into their own. The 327 sheds new light on the '70s as a time of innovation by boldly reshaping classic design elements with a thoroughly contemporary outlook. With an angular rework of the tried-and-true wedge silhouette, oversized, asymmetrically applied 'N' branding, and a wraparound, trail-inspired lug outsole, the 327 is a complete reimagining of our running heritage. This 327 for kids scales down the classic silhouette for growing feet.
