The Nobody's Child Freddie Barn Coat is a versatile, relaxed-fit outer layer designed for adults seeking a blend of classic utility and modern style. Constructed from durable cotton, it features a practical funnel tab collar, long raglan sleeves, and thoughtful details like a back storm vent for added comfort. While it offers excellent layering capabilities for transitional weather, the relaxed fit means those preferring a more tailored silhouette may need to consider sizing down.

The coat is made of cotton, which is comfortable and durable but not inherently waterproof. It is best suited for light showers rather than heavy downpours.
The coat is designed with a relaxed fit. If you prefer a more slim or fitted look, you may want to size down from your usual size.
Yes, the Freddie Barn Coat is available in both regular and petite length options to ensure a better fit for various heights.
You should check the specific garment care label inside the coat, but generally, cotton is machine washable on a cool, gentle cycle.
Raglan sleeves provide more room under the arm and around the shoulder, allowing for greater mobility and easier layering over thick tops.
Apply a tiny amount of beeswax or a silicone-based lubricant to the metal snap to help it glide more smoothly.
Use a garment steamer on a low setting or hang the coat in the bathroom while you take a hot shower to allow steam to release creases.
To keep your cotton coat in optimal condition, always consult the internal care label before cleaning. Generally, cotton outerwear benefits from gentle machine wash cycles or spot cleaning. Because this coat features gold-toned metal popper fastenings, it is recommended to fasten all closures before placing it in the wash to prevent snags or damage to the fabric. Hang the coat on a sturdy hanger to air dry, which helps maintain the intended shape and prevents unnecessary creasing. Avoid harsh tumble drying as this can shrink natural cotton fibers.
