FAQs

Can the mice be washed in a machine?

The textile elements are machine washable at 30 degrees Celsius, but we recommend using a garment bag to protect them.

What is the material of the bed?

The bed is constructed from sturdy, high-quality cardboard designed to mimic a vintage cigarbox.

Are the eye masks removable?

Yes, the eye masks are designed to be removed and placed on the mice to simulate a sleeping state.

Is this set suitable for children of all ages?

Due to the size of some components, it is intended for children who have moved past the mouthing stage, generally recommended for ages 3 and up.

Can these mice fit in other Maileg furniture?

Yes, they are compatible with other Maileg items that share the same scale and design language.

Troubleshooting

The clothing has become slightly wrinkled from storage.

Gently smooth the fabric by hand or use a very low-temperature iron if necessary.

The cigarbox surface has a small smudge.

Use a dry or lightly dampened microfiber cloth to wipe the surface; avoid harsh cleaning chemicals.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setting up the set is intuitive; simply place the mattress, pillow, and blanket inside the cigarbox to create the sleeping quarters. The set is compatible with other Maileg furniture and accessories in the same scale. To maintain the items, remove the textile bedding and clothing to machine wash at 30 degrees Celsius. The cardboard cigarbox should not be submerged in water; instead, keep it in pristine condition by wiping it gently with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth.
