Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your wetsuit maintains its elasticity and thermal properties, follow these guidelines:
- Entering the Suit: Gently step into the legs first, pull the suit up to your waist, and insert one arm at a time before pulling the chest panel over your head. Avoid using fingernails as they can puncture the neoprene.
- Rinsing: Always rinse the suit thoroughly with fresh, cold water after every use to remove salt, sand, and organic debris.
- Drying: Hang the wetsuit inside out on a wide, sturdy hanger in a shaded, well-ventilated area. Never dry the suit in direct sunlight, as UV rays break down the neoprene structure.
- Storage: Do not leave the wetsuit in the trunk of a car for extended periods, as high heat can permanently damage the lamination and seams.
