FAQs

Is the jacket waterproof?

The jacket is designed for warmth and insulation, particularly in damp conditions, but it is not a fully seam-sealed waterproof rain shell.

Can children operate the reversible zipper themselves?

Yes, however, younger children might need a brief demonstration on how to align the reversible puller correctly.

What is the benefit of the Circular Design initiative?

It means the jacket is constructed to be more easily recycled at the end of its life, helping to reduce waste.

Are the pockets on both sides of the jacket?

The jacket includes practical zippered pockets for secure storage on the main outer side.

How should I store the jacket during summer?

Store it hanging in a cool, dry place to prevent compression of the insulation.

Troubleshooting

Zipper feels stuck when reversing

Check to ensure the fabric flap is not caught in the teeth of the zipper and align the zipper pull carefully.

Insulation feels flat after washing

Tumble dry the jacket on low heat with dryer balls to redistribute the synthetic fibers.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Dual-style versatility with a fully reversible construction
Synthetic insulation performs well in wet weather
Raglan sleeves allow for unrestricted arm movement
Zippered pockets prevent items from falling out
Sustainable design supports long-term environmental goals

Cons

Synthetic fill may lose loft if compressed heavily for long periods
Reversible zippers can be slightly more complex for younger children to operate
Light-colored options may show dirt more quickly during rugged outdoor play

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the longevity of your jacket, follow these care steps:

Cleaning: Machine wash on a gentle cycle with cold water using a mild detergent.
Drying: Tumble dry on a low heat setting. Including clean tennis balls in the dryer can help re-fluff the insulation.
Storage: Hang the jacket when not in use rather than compressing it in a tight space to keep the insulation loft intact.
Zippers: If the reversible zipper feels stiff, ensure there is no fabric caught in the track before pulling.
