The Regatta Frankie Borg Half Zip fleece is designed for adult men seeking a reliable, lightweight insulating layer for outdoor activities and casual daily wear. Its primary benefit is providing consistent warmth without excessive bulk, making it an excellent choice for layering during hikes, travel, or everyday use. While it offers impressive comfort and utility, users should note that the polyester material is primarily for insulation and does not provide significant waterproof protection on its own.

No, it is made of polyester designed for insulation, not weatherproofing. A shell jacket should be worn over it in rain.
Yes, it is suitable as an outer layer on cool, dry days, but it is optimized to function as a mid-layer.
The pocket is designed for small essentials. Most standard-sized phones will fit, but very large devices may be a tight fit.
Wash in a machine on a gentle, cool cycle. Avoid high heat during drying to protect the integrity of the stretch binding.
Yes, the polyester construction allows for natural airflow, making it comfortable for active use during outdoor pursuits.
Use a fabric shaver or a lint roller to gently remove pilling after washing.
Ensure no fabric is caught in the zipper teeth and apply a small amount of graphite from a pencil to the teeth to lubricate.
To keep your fleece in top condition, follow standard care practices for polyester garments: machine wash on a gentle cycle with similar colors using mild detergent. Avoid using fabric softeners, as these can degrade the performance fibers over time. Air drying is recommended to maintain the integrity of the elastic bindings at the cuffs and hem. For compatibility, the fleece is designed to work seamlessly as part of a layering system; pair it with a base layer underneath for maximum thermal efficiency and a waterproof jacket on top when precipitation is expected.
