Troubleshooting
Plants look compressed or flat after unboxing
Gently pull and bend each of the 7 flexible stems outward to restore a full, rounded shape.
Plants are moving around in outdoor planters
Use floral foam, decorative stones, or garden staples to secure the base of the stems firmly into the potting soil.
Dust buildup dulls the appearance
Spray the plants with a gentle stream of water from a garden hose or wipe the leaves individually with a soft, damp cloth.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Requires zero maintenance such as watering or pruning
- Maintains a consistent, fresh look all year round
- Flexible stems allow for easy shaping and customization
- Versatile design suitable for farmhouse, wedding, and daily decor
- Generous quantity of 18 bundles per set
Cons
- Not a live plant, so it lacks the scent and air-purifying benefits of real ferns
- Gold coloration is stylized rather than a traditional botanical green
- Exposure to extreme sun over several years may eventually affect color vibrancy
Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setting up your YXYQR artificial ferns is straightforward. Remove the bundles from the packaging and gently bend the individual stems outward to create the desired volume. If placing in soil, ensure the base is buried deeply enough to anchor the plant against wind.
Compatibility is high across most standard planters, including window boxes, terracotta pots, and wire hanging baskets. Care is minimal: to keep them looking fresh, simply rinse them with a light spray of water or wipe the leaves with a damp cloth if dust accumulates over time. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners, as these may strip the color finish.
