No, the Speedcat Mule is a lifestyle fashion shoe and is not designed for running or high-impact athletic activities.
It is not recommended. The suede material can be permanently damaged by water, so avoid wearing them in wet or snowy conditions.
The Speedcat Mule generally fits true to size for an adult foot, but the slip-on design means the fit is dependent on the width of your foot and the tension of the elastic strap.
You can wipe the rubber edges with a damp cloth and mild soap to maintain their appearance and grip.
The product features suede uppers, which provide the signature texture and premium look associated with the Speedcat series.
Ensure the strap is positioned properly across the arch of your foot; if it remains loose, the shoe may be a size too large.
Use a specialized suede eraser or a dry, clean cloth to gently buff out minor marks. Avoid using excessive water.
Ensure the rubber outsole is free of debris or wax buildup by wiping it with a damp, non-abrasive cloth.
As a slip-on shoe, the Speedcat Mule requires no breaking-in of laces, though the elasticated straps should be checked periodically to ensure they remain snug across the instep. Given the suede upper, it is highly recommended to apply a suede-specific water repellent spray before your first wear to protect against moisture and stains. If the shoes become dirty, use a soft-bristled brush to gently remove surface dust. Avoid machine washing or submerging the shoes in water, as this can degrade the suede material and affect the adhesive bonds of the sole.
