FAQs

Are these pants suitable for intense gym workouts?

While comfortable for warm-ups, the heavy cotton-blend fleece is better suited for casual wear or low-impact activity rather than high-sweat, intense training.

What is the inseam length for these pants?

The Icon Fleece Pants feature a consistent 31.5-inch inseam across all sizes.

How do I know which size to pick?

Refer to the standard Under Armour sizing chart, keeping in mind the inseam length remains 31.5 inches regardless of the waist size chosen.

Do the pants have a zipper pocket?

They feature a secure snap-back pocket rather than a zipper, providing easy access while keeping items held in place.

Does the odor control wear off?

The odor control treatment is durable, but its effectiveness can diminish over many wash cycles.

Troubleshooting

Drawcord gets lost inside the waistband

Use a safety pin attached to the end of the drawcord to guide it back through the eyelet channel.

Pilling on the exterior fabric

Avoid washing with rough fabrics like denim or towels; use a fabric shaver gently to remove surface fuzz.

Waistband feels too loose

Ensure the external drawcord is tied securely and consider sizing down if the elastic itself has lost tension.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Superior warmth due to brushed fleece interior
  • Secure fit with adjustable external drawcord
  • Odor control technology maintains freshness
  • Convenient secure snap-back pocket

Cons

  • Fixed 31.5-inch inseam may not fit all heights perfectly
  • Cotton-blend material may retain moisture if heavily exercised in
  • Limited to specific aesthetic styles

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the longevity of your fleece pants, follow these care guidelines:

  1. Washing: Machine wash cold with like colors to prevent fading and maintain fabric integrity.
  2. Drying: Tumble dry on low heat. Avoid high heat as it can damage the elastic components and potentially shrink the cotton fibers.
  3. Bleach/Ironing: Do not use bleach, and avoid ironing to preserve the soft texture of the fleece.
  4. Fit Check: Ensure you select the correct size (S-XXL) to accommodate the standard 31.5-inch inseam, which is consistent across the Icon series.
