Jean Paul Gaultier Scandal Le Parfum - Floral

Eau De Parfum (EDP) is a type of fragrance with a higher concentration of perfume oils than Eau De Toilette (EDT), typically ranging from 15-20%. This results in a longer-lasting scent, usually 4-8 hours, and a more pronounced sillage.

For optimal scent diffusion, apply to pulse points such as the wrists, neck, behind the ears, and inner elbows. The warmth of these areas helps to project the fragrance.

Apply the fragrance to moisturized skin (unscented lotion works well). Avoid rubbing your wrists together after application, as this can break down the scent molecules. Store the bottle correctly to preserve its integrity.

Given its seductive and daring amber floral profile, Jean Paul Gaultier Scandal Le Parfum is particularly well-suited for evening wear, special occasions, or during cooler months. However, it can be worn during the day if you prefer a strong, noticeable fragrance.

The fragrance opens with jasmine (top note), transitions to caramel and salt (heart notes), and settles into a rich vanilla base note. This combination creates its distinctive amber floral character.

Store your Jean Paul Gaultier Scandal Le Parfum in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperature fluctuations. Keeping it in its original box can also help protect it from light exposure and maintain its quality over time.

Ensure you are applying to pulse points (wrists, neck, behind ears) on clean, moisturized skin. Fragrance tends to dissipate faster on dry skin. Consider reapplying lightly after 4-6 hours if needed.

Apply less product or consider spraying into the air and walking through the mist for a lighter application. Avoid applying to too many areas simultaneously.

Discontinue use immediately. If irritation persists, consult a dermatologist. Perform a patch test on a small, inconspicuous area of skin before full application to check for sensitivity.

Body chemistry can subtly alter how a fragrance smells. Ensure your skin is clean and free of other strong scents when applying. Humidity and temperature can also affect scent perception.
