Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Getting started with your laceless Predator Elite boots is straightforward. Simply slide your foot in, ensuring the PRIMEKNIT collar comfortably wraps around your ankle. The laceless design provides an adaptive fit that molds to your foot. It's recommended to wear them for a few short sessions initially to 'break them in' before a full match.
Compatibility
These boots are specifically engineered for Firm Ground (FG) surfaces. This means they are ideal for natural grass pitches that are dry or slightly damp. They are not recommended for Artificial Grass (AG) or Soft Ground (SG) surfaces, as this can damage the studs and potentially void any warranty, while also offering suboptimal performance and increased injury risk. Always match your boot type to the playing surface for best results.
Care
Proper care will extend the life and maintain the performance of your boots:
- Cleaning: After each use, remove excess mud and dirt using a soft brush or damp cloth. For tougher grime, use a mild soap solution and a soft sponge. Do not machine wash or use harsh detergents.
- Drying: Allow your boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators or sunlight, as this can cause the synthetic materials to crack or stiffen.
- Storage: Store them in a cool, dry place, ideally with newspaper stuffed inside to help absorb moisture and maintain their shape.
- Inspection: Regularly check the studs and outsole for wear and tear, especially if playing on abrasive firm ground surfaces.
